Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals seeks a Pump and Power Technician to perform diagnostics and repairs, returning equipment to service with minimal downtime. You will work with a team to troubleshoot a range of pump and power assets and read schematics to guide repairs.

Eligible applicants typically have 3–5 years of relevant hands-on experience and EPA 608 certification, with emphasis on safety and efficiency in field service.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment.
• EPA Section 608 universal Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic diagnostics and repairs on Pump & Power equipment to return it to service quickly.
• Read electric schematics and hydraulic flow to troubleshoot equipment.
• Operate safely and adhere to all applicable laws and standards.

Sunbelt Rentals--the fastest growing rental business in North America--is seeking a Pump and Power Technician2. The Pump & Power Technician 2 performs basic diagnostics and equipment repairs in the safest and most effective way possible with an emphasis on returning equipment to service to avoid equipment down time.

Education or experience that prepares you for success:

• 3-5 years of experience with repairing and maintaining Pump & Power equipment
• EPA section 608 universal Certification required

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities you may rely on:

• Basic understanding of refrigeration (EPA Certified), electrical engines and controllers, dehumidification equipment from CDI and munters, compressed air treatment (dryers/filters/aftercooler)
• Knowledge of generators, power distribution, A/C, Heater and Shoring; possesses an understanding of diesel equipment, generators and air compressors
• Ability to read electric schematics and hydraulic flow
• Experience with similar equipment

Base Pay Range: $24.05 - 34.56. Starting rate of pay may vary based on factors including, but not limited to, position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience.
