Job summary

KSB SE & Co. KGaA is seeking a Pump Mechanic I for KSB SupremeServ by KSB GIW, Inc. in Thomson, GA. The role involves disassembling, inspecting, cleaning and reassembling pump components per ISO procedures, with potential field work at customer sites.

You will work alongside experienced technicians, learn from them, and follow safety protocols while maintaining records and contributing to quality service delivery. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in mechanical work.
• Ability to use common hand tools and basic measuring devices.
• Ability to read basic instructions in English and perform simple math.

Responsibilities

• Assist with disassembly and reassembly of pumps and mechanical assemblies under supervision.
• Clean and inspect pump parts, recording basic information as directed.
• Prepare parts and assemblies using solvents and approved cleaning methods.
• Support the set-up and operation of assembly tools and equipment.
• Learn to read and interpret basic engineering drawings or assembly instructions.
• Organize tools, parts, and workstations to maintain an efficient workflow.
• Follow safety procedures and report issues to supervisors.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
