Job summary

Danos is seeking an experienced Pump Mechanic in Pecos, TX to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair pumps and related equipment used in oil and gas operations. The role requires hands-on work with packing, impellers, seals, bearings, and other components in an outdoor oilfield setting.

You will perform routine maintenance, diagnose issues, and disassemble/reassemble pumps as needed, with on-call rotations every other weekend.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in pump maintenance or oilfield equipment maintenance is required.
• Experience with centrifugal pumps, injection pumps, or SWD equipment is a plus.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in an oilfield environment.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Ability to work independently and diagnose equipment issues.

• Comfortable working outdoors in an oilfield environment.

• Available to work Monday–Friday and participate in an every-other-weekend on-call rotation.

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
