Job summary

Guthrie is seeking a Pulmonary Disease/Sleep Medicine physician to join a multi-site Sleep Center network with private rooms for sleep studies and support from respiratory therapy professionals.

You will collaborate with cardiology, surgery, and subspecialties to manage complex care, with teaching roles and ongoing clinical research opportunities within Guthrie’s comprehensive programs.

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Pulmonary Disease (ABIM).
• Fellowship-trained in Sleep Medicine with board certification or board eligibility.
• MD or DO degree.
• Valid PA and NY medical licenses or eligibility to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Pulmonary Disease / Sleep Medicine practice with inpatient and outpatient components.
• Possible involvement in interventional pulmonology, robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS, LVRS.
• Collaborative, multidisciplinary care through Guthrie's Pulse Center with related services.
• Teaching opportunities with PCCM Fellowship and residency programs.
• Participate in clinical research with the Donald Guthrie Foundation.

• Practice supported by multi-site Sleep Center network with private rooms for overnight polysomnography and at-home sleep study capabilities
• Diagnostic team of respiratory therapists, registered polysomnographic technologists and polysomnographic technicians
• Complement your sleep practice with inpatient and outpatient pulmonary medicine, with optional involvement in interventional pulmonology, robotic bronchoscopy, EBUS, and lung volume reduction surgery (LVRS)

• Base salary range $361,000 - $448,000

A 254-bed tertiary care referral center, Guthrie Robert Packer Hospital, Sayre, PA, has received numerous national awards for the high-quality care it provides to patients.
