Job summary

Medrina, LLC is seeking a pulmonologist to join a physician-owned group in Hartford, CT. The physician will consult, oversee NPs, and participate in profit-sharing opportunities with flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities include biweekly SNF pulmonary consults and comprehensive documentation in the EMR. The role offers a 1099 independent contractor arrangement with Mon-Fri schedules and no weekend calls.

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Connecticut license is required.
• Board Eligible/Certified in Pulmonology.
• Active DEA license.
• Minimum 1 year of Pulmonology experience.
• Experience with respiratory patients in acute or post-acute settings.
• Experience managing adult/geriatric populations.
• Strong clinical decision-making and time management skills.

We are a large physician-owned group expanding in the Hartford, CT area. As part of our Respiratory Program, we are seeking a pulmonologist to join our team consulting, overseeing NPs providing consults, with profit-sharing opportunities. We offer generous compensation, flexible scheduling, and no on-call requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide biweekly pulmonary consults to SNF patients, including assessments, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation in EMR

Preferred Qualifications

• Active and unrestrictedConnecticutlicense
• Board Eligible/Certified in Pulmonology
• Active DEA license
• Minimum 1 year of Pulmonology experience

Scheduling Options

• Full-Time 30-40 hours per week
• Part-Time 10-20 hours per week

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of standing, walking, and sitting while working with patients as well as working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• May be exposed to bloodborne pathogens, physical hazards (e.g., needle pricks, etc.) and chemical hazards.
• Must wear the required PPE per company and/or facility requirement.
• Must comply with facility vaccination requirements.

Board Certified or Board Eligible Medical Doctor with or w/o US residency with current US work visa.
