Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking a Physician Assistant specialized in Pulmonology for a local contract in Bronx, NY. You will support physicians in diagnosing and managing pulmonary diseases, participate in patient assessments, and help improve outcomes through coordinated care.

The role requires an NY PA license with DEA, NCCPA certification, and 1–2 years in pulmonology or related fields. Compensation is $65-$72 per hour, with a 52-week assignment and 40 hours per week.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree from an accredited PA program.
• NCCPA certification.
• Active New York PA license with DEA and prescriptive authority.
• BLS & ACLS required, PALS preferred.
• 1–2 years experience in Pulmonology, Internal Medicine, or Critical Care preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform patient assessments, histories, and physical exams.
• Order and interpret tests (chest imaging, pulmonary function tests, ABGs).
• Manage respiratory conditions such as asthma, COPD, and sleep apnea.
• Assist with procedures like thoracentesis and bronchoscopy support.
• Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
• Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams.
