Job summary

TechniPower, Inc. is seeking qualified physicians for an inpatient critical care coverage role starting February 2027, with intermittent coverage for new parent leave.

The position supports hospital-based ICU services across facilities, with Epic EMR and a team on-site (up to 3 physicians and 3 APCs) to ensure consistent patient care. Hospital Pulmonology and ICU services handle adult and geriatric patients, with 38 beds (20 ICU, 12 CCU, 6 CVICU) and a daily census totaling around 40 Pulmonology

Qualifications

• Board Certified in Critical Care required (Pulmonary preferred).
• Completed Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine and/or Pulmonology.
• Active, unrestricted South Carolina state medical license.
• Active ACLS and unrestricted DEA registration.

Practice Description

Clinical & Facility Environment

• Practice Setting: 100% Inpatient / Hospital-Based (May cover multiple facilities)
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric care only. No pediatrics or neonate care.
• Daily Census / Volume: Hospital Consults: 10-15 patients/day | ICU: 10-15 patients/day. Hospital Pulmonology daily service total averages 40 patients.
• Unit Infrastructure: 38 total specialized beds (20 ICU beds, 12 CCU beds, and 6 CVICU beds)
• On-Site Team Support: Up to 3 physicians and 3 Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) on-site per weekday
• EMR Platform: Epic Electronic Medical Records

Mandatory Position Requirements

• Board Certification: Board Certified in Critical Care required (Pulmonary preferred)
• Fellowship Training: Completed Fellowship in Critical Care Medicine and/or Pulmonology
• Licensure: Active, unrestricted South Carolina state medical license
• Core Credentials: Active ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) and active, unrestricted DEA registration
