Job summary

Essen Medical Associates is looking for a qualified physician to provide pulmonary consultative care for SNF/LTC residents, effectively managing chronic respiratory diseases.

The successful candidate will collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and oversee therapies such as oxygen and inhaled medications. Candidates must possess an MD or DO with a valid NY medical license, residency in Internal Medicine, and preferably a fellowship in Pulmonology.

Qualifications

• Must possess an MD or DO degree.
• Completion of an IM residency; Pulmonology fellowship is preferred.
• A valid NY medical license and DEA are required.

Responsibilities

• Manage COPD, asthma, sleep apnea, and chronic respiratory failure.
• Oversee oxygen therapy and inhaled medications.
• Supervise NPs and collaborate with facility teams.
