Adventist Health Castle in Kailua, Hawaii seeks a full-time, board-certified or eligible pulmonologist to join a multidisciplinary team providing full-spectrum pulmonary care in inpatient and outpatient settings.

The ideal candidate is mission-minded and team-oriented, with Hawaii license or eligibility; credentialing will be aligned with hospital standards. Enjoy a community-based environment with a strong care focus.

Qualifications

• Board-certified or eligible pulmonologist
• Hawaii licensed or eligible
• Experience in inpatient and outpatient pulmonary care

Responsibilities

• Provide inpatient consults and follow-ups
• Conduct comprehensive pulmonary evaluations and develop treatment plans
• Diagnose and manage asthma, COPD, ILD, pulmonary hypertension and sleep disorders
• Order and interpret imaging and pulmonary function tests
• Perform bronchoscopy and other pulmonary procedures as credentialed
• Collaborate with internal medicine, critical care, cardiology and ED teams
• Manage chronic respiratory conditions with patient education for long-term care
• No emergency department call required

Adventist Health Castle (AHCS) seeks a full-time, mission-minded, board certified or eligible pulmonologist. The incumbent will join a high-quality, collegial, multi-disciplinary team, dedicated to whole-person, patient-centered care, in a welcoming environment for families. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Provide inpatient consults and follow-ups
• Conduct comprehensive pulmonary evaluations and develop individualized treatment plans
• Diagnose and manage conditions such as asthma, COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary hypertension, and sleep disorders
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests including imaging and pulmonary function tests
• Perform bronchoscopies and manage other pulmonary procedures (as credentialed)
• Collaborate with internal medicine, critical care, cardiology and emergency department teams for coordinated care
• Diagnose and manage chronic respiratory conditions, promote preventive care and patient education for long-term disease management in clinic
• No emergency department call required

Base Compensation Starts at $400,000.00 per year

*Total compensation may vary based on additional services, including call coverage, administrative services, performance bonus, etc. Compensation may also vary based on productivity after initial guarantee period.
