Job summary

Lakeview Hospital in Covington, LA seeks a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Pulmonologist/Critical Care Physician to join a collaborative, community-focused team. The role covers inpatient and outpatient care, clinical leadership, and multidisciplinary collaboration to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications include MD/DO with Internal Medicine residency and fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care; Louisiana license or eligibility; BLS and ACLS.

Qualifications

• Must be MD or DO with residency in Internal Medicine and fellowship in Pulmonary/Critical Care.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease and Critical Care.
• Active (or eligible for) Louisiana medical license; BLS and ACLS certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality care for pulmonary and critically ill patients.
• Perform patient evaluations, diagnosis and treatment planning.
• Respond to calls, messages, and consultation requests promptly.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and daily patient encounters.
• Recognize emergencies and respond per policy and protocols.
• Participate in quality improvement and safety initiatives.
