Job summary

Mission Health in Asheville is offering a year-long paid RN Residency Program designed to facilitate the transition from student to professional nurse. This program provides advanced clinical training including monthly education sessions, mentorship, and preceptorship.

Residents will deliver patient-centered care and work closely with experienced nurse leaders while gaining valuable hands-on experience. Qualifications include a nursing degree and the ability to obtain BLS and ACLS certifications within specified timeframes.

Qualifications

• Must obtain BLS within 30 days and ACLS within 1 year of employment.
• Registered Nurse License or Graduate Nurse in the state required.
• No previous experience needed, travel may be necessary for training.

Responsibilities

• Assess and report changes in patient condition and status.
• Administer prescribed medications and document care.
• Provide education to patients and families about medical conditions.
