Job summary

The Iowa Clinic is seeking a registered nurse for the Pulmonary department in Central Iowa. You will provide compassionate nursing care, perform assessments, manage vitals, and support providers with triage and care planning in a collaborative setting.

Applicants should have Iowa RN licensure, strong patient communication, and a focus on delivering high-quality outpatient care within standard clinic hours.

Qualifications

• Iowa RN license required.
• Knowledge of nursing techniques, procedures, medical diagnoses and treatments.
• Exceptional patient skills and ability to maintain records.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing services for patients of assigned physician(s) following established nursing practice standards and procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patient care needs.
• Room patients and take vitals.
• Assist providers with patient triage and formulate an initial plan of care.
• Spend time with patients to listen and build rapport.
