Job summary

CoxHealth South in Springfield, MO seeks a Registered Nurse to join the 300W Med-Surg Pulmonary unit. You will deliver high-quality patient care for telemetry, respiratory and vascular surgery patients, with emphasis on critical thinking, documentation, and family education.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.
• RN license active in Missouri and BLS within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Manage care of patients with medical conditions or post-surgical care.
• Assess patient condition, administer medications, change dressings, monitor vitals.
• Maintain accurate records and educate patients and families.
• Support telemetry monitoring and respiratory care as applicable.
