Infinite Medical P.C. is hiring a Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to provide specialized care for residents in long‑term care facilities. The role emphasizes comprehensive respiratory management, including diagnoses, treatment planning, and patient education.

The position requires a Master’s in Nursing, active NP/PA license, DEA, and 100% local travel. Candidates with pulmonology experience and EMR familiarity are preferred. Salary is competitive and benefits are included.

Competenze

• 6 months minimum experience in long‑term care or skilled nursing facility.
• Active and unrestricted NP/PA/Physician license.
• DEA license.
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified.
• Master’s Degree in Nursing.
• Local Travel 100% Required.
• Pulmonology or respiratory care experience.
• Preferred EMR documentation experience (Sigma/Visual/PCC) with training provided.

Mansioni

• Conduct physical assessments and screenings for pulmonary conditions.
• Diagnose and treat asthma, COPD, pneumonia and other respiratory illnesses.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans considering history and lifestyle.
• Prescribe medications and therapies, including inhalers and rehabilitation.
• Educate patients and families on disease management and adherence.
• Perform spirometry, chest X‑rays, and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

Job Summary

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant to join our team. As a Pulmonology Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with respiratory conditions, including asthma, COPD, pneumonia, and other pulmonary disorders. Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough physical assessments and medical screenings of patients with pulmonary conditions.
• Diagnose and treat common respiratory illnesses, including asthma, bronchitis, and pneumonia.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, considering their medical history, current symptoms, and lifestyle factors.
• Prescribe medications and therapies, such as inhalers, antibiotics, and pulmonary rehabilitation programs.
• Educate patients and their families on the importance of proper disease management, medication adherence, and lifestyle modifications.
• Perform diagnostic procedures, such as spirometry, chest X‑rays, and arterial blood gas analysis.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of experience in long‑term care or a skilled nursing facility
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner, Physician Assistant, or Physician license
• DEA License
• CPR BCLS/BLS certified
• Must hold a Master’s Degree in Nursing
• Local Travel 100% Required
• Completed a degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• A year of experience in Pulmonology or respiratory care
• Preferred experience in Documenting EMR (Sigma, Visual, PCC, etc.): training provided
• Must have great organizational and time management skills.
• Prolonged standing/walking. Occasional lifting up to 20 lbs. Computer work. Lifting/moving patients. Prolonged sitting.
