Ocean Pulmonary in Ocean County, NJ, is seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner for a full-time role in pulmonology and sleep medicine. The NP will perform comprehensive assessments and coordinate care with physicians to optimize patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Nursing (MSN) and board certification as a NP.
Active NJ state NP license.
Experience in pulmonary medicine preferred.
BLS and ACLS certification required.

Responsibilities

Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with pulmonary and sleep disorders.
Develop and implement personalized care plans in collaboration with physicians.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as pulmonary function tests, chest X-rays, and lab work.
Manage ongoing care for chronic respiratory diseases (COPD, asthma, ILD).
Educate patients and families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive care.
Provide follow-up care and referrals to specialists.
Maintain HIPAA-compliant medical records.
