Job summary

Watson Clinic in Lakeland, FL is seeking a full-time Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner for a busy clinic-based practice. Under the direction of Pulmonary physicians, you will perform histories and physicals, write orders, and manage acute and chronic pulmonary illnesses in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM with potential weekend call and hospital rounding. BLS and NP board certification are required, as is an active Florida license.

Qualifications

• BLS certification is required.
• NP board certification is required.
• Active, unrestricted Florida license (or ability to obtain) is required.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update progress notes in a timely manner.
• Perform histories and physicals (H&Ps).
• Write orders for medications and diagnostic tests.
• Assess and diagnose acute and chronic illnesses.
• Provide high-quality patient care in clinic setting.

Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner (Full-Time) - Lakeland, FL

Our Pulmonary practice in Lakeland is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner for a busy clinic-based practice.

Schedule:
Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (or until all patients are seen)
Weekend call coverage and hospital rounding may be requested.

Preferred Experience:
Prior Nurse Practitioner experience in Pulmonary, Medical-Surgical, Emergency Room, or ICU settings is preferred. Candidates should possess strong interpersonal and communication skills, along with exceptional attention to detail.

Under the direction of our Pulmonary physicians, responsibilities include:
