This position will focus on treatment and management of patients with Asthma, COPD, Chronic cough, Interstitial Lung disease, tobacco cessation, early detection of lung cancer through lung cancer screening and incidental lung nodule programs, amongst others. The APP will be expected to manage acute and chronic pulmonary diseases inpatient and outpatient and is encouraged to practice at the top of their license. Essential functions: obtain a medical history, physical exam, document findings and prepare a plan of care in a timely manner including prescribing medications and ordering appropriate tests/procedures. Attend, participate in and contribute to group/practice meetings, development of policies and procedures, and quality improvement initiatives.
