Job summary

SSM Health is seeking a full-time Pulmonary Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for our Pulmonary Critical Care team at SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital - St. Charles.

The role combines outpatient and inpatient care with a focus on pulmonary and sleep medicine, providing autonomous practice with onsite and virtual support. Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with no overnights, weekends, or after-hours calls.

Qualifications

• Ability to work independently
• Flexible team player
• Experience/Interest in pulmonary or sleep medicine desired
• Graduate of a nationally accredited NP or PA program
• Ability to obtain MO RN and NP Licensure or PA Licensure

Responsibilities

• Mix of outpatient and inpatient care, including inpatient consults and patient rounding.
• Management of pulmonary and sleep medicine diseases.
• Anticipated clinic volume of 15 patients per day and rounding on 5 patients per day once fully onboarded.
