PIH Health is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner – Pulmonary to join our outpatient Pulmonary Clinic in Whittier, CA. The NP will deliver comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic pulmonary conditions, while formulating treatment plans that include psychosocial support, education, and counseling.

Qualifications

• Current California Nurse Practitioner certification
• Master's degree in Nursing with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant healthcare experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Evidence of continuing education and self-development
• DEA certification (if required for prescribing medications)

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic pulmonary conditions in outpatient clinic.
• Formulate comprehensive treatment plans including psychosocial support, education and counseling.
• Interpret diagnostic tests and develop individualized care plans.
• Educate patients on disease management and prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality patient-centered care.
