Job summary

Geisinger in Wilkes-Barre, PA, seeks a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant specializing in Pulmonary Medicine for outpatient care. Join a team with 5 attendings and 3 APs, offering 60-min new patient and 30-min follow-up visits, with a $10k start incentive and full benefits on day one.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required for PA/NP roles.
• Licensure/certifications: BLS; PA-C or NP licensed in PA.
• Experience in pulmonary care or critical care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide outpatient pulmonology consultations.
• Manage COPD, asthma, ILD, lung cancer, and post-COVID issues.
• 60-minute visits for new patients; 30-minute follow-ups.

Job Summary: Geisinger is seeking a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an interest in practicing 100% Pulmonary Medicine, to join our welcoming practice in Wilkes-Barre, PA.

Job Duties

• At a Glance:
• Comprehensive specialty training provided to be successful
• Provider skill mix: 5 attendings and 3 APs
• Provider primarily performs outpatient consultations
• See general pulmonary cases such as COPD, asthma, interstitial lung disease, lung cancer and post COVID complications
• Outpatient appointments are 60 minutes for new patients and 30 minutes for follow up visits
• Competitive compensation plus $10k start incentive
