Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Completed Medical Assistant training or verifiable work experience in patient care.

Responsibilities

• Performs patient care under the supervision of the physician or APP in ambulatory care.
• Gathers patient data through interviews and observation for the visit.
• Assists the physician or APP during examinations and procedures.
• Maintains compliance with Orlando Health policies and infection control standards.
• Manages scheduling information and coordinates with patients for specialty testing or consultations.
