Job summary

Wilmington Health in Wilmington, North Carolina, is seeking a Pulmonary Function Tech to support the pulmonary function testing program at the Midtown location. This full-time role assists providers and nurses with PFTs and data collection to help assess lung function.

You will maintain PFT equipment, prepare reports for physicians, and participate in Sleep Study data collection. Preferred candidates have CMA licensure and some pulmonary work experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Active CMA license preferred.
• Pulmonary work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform PFTs to be evaluated by physician to diagnose lung disorders.
• Maintain pulmonary function equipment and supplies.
• Completes reports for pulmonary function test and distribute to the ordering physicians.
• Participates in Sleep Study (including home studies) for the collection of data, and submitting information for billing.
• As assigned by manager.
