Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED with respiratory therapy certification, or an associate's or bachelor's degree in health sciences or biology.
• At least 1 year of experience in a pulmonary function lab.
• CPR (BLS) certification.
• Credentialing through NBRC as a respiratory care practitioner or pulmonary function technologist, with ongoing certification maintained.

Responsibilities

• Measure, analyze, and record pulmonary function procedures
• Perform non-invasive cardiac diagnostic testing
• Serve as a key resource in the Pulmonary Laboratory
• Implement quality assurance and control programs
• Train new staff
• Troubleshoot equipment
