Job summary

A leading pulmonary practice in Georgia is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Pulmonary Critical Care Physician to join their team. This role involves a mixed practice of inpatient and outpatient care with opportunities for advanced bronchoscopy. Qualifications

• Must be board certified or eligible in Pulmonology and Critical Care Medicine.
• Experience in combined inpatient/outpatient pulmonary practice.
• Option for qualified candidates to practice sleep medicine.

Responsibilities

• Manage a mix of inpatient and outpatient pulmonary cases.
• Provide care for an average of 16-18 patients daily.
• Collaborate with APPs and hospitalists in ICU settings.

Skills

Board Certified/Board Eligible in Pulmonology

Experience in pulmonary and critical care medicine

Ability to practice advanced bronchoscopy

Teaching skills for residents and medical students

Position Overview

Clinical Focus:

• Pulmonary and Critical Care 80%/20%
• Combined inpatient/outpatient pulmonary medicine practice
• Option to practice advanced bronchoscopy including robotic assisted
• Optional sleep medicine practice for qualified candidates with certification
• Average daily census: 16-18 patients

Schedule

• Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• No Friday office hours
• Weekend call: Once every four weeks with prior Friday off
• Minimal after-hours responsibilities, primarily handled remotely
