Qualifications

• Graduate of Accredited LPN program.
• Florida Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (AHA or Red Cross) required.
• Knowledge of infection control practices.
• Computer literacy required.

Responsibilities

• Provide professional nursing care to patients.
• Administer medication.
• Maintain complete, accurate and up-to-date documentation in medical records.
• Complete authorization forms and laboratory requisitions.
• Implement pain management assessments and documentation.
• Adhere to the National Patient Safety Goals as outlined by JCAHO.
• Follow Code Blue protocol.
