Qualifications

• Illinois nursing license is required.
• Experience in pulmonary care or respiratory therapy in a skilled nursing or healthcare setting is preferred.
• Strong assessment, organizational, and communication skills.
• Position involves physical activity and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Provide therapeutic pulmonary services.
• Make written & oral reports/recommendations for shift activities; admit, transfer and discharge residents as required; provide leadership to nursing personnel.
• Provide daily services to an assigned caseload of residents.
• Develop and maintain good working rapport with inter-departmental personnel and other departments to ensure nursing services meet residents' needs.
• Maintain confidentiality of all resident care information including PHI.
