PIH Health in California is seeking a Nurse Practitioner – Pulmonary to join our outpatient pulmonary service. You will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of acute and chronic pulmonary conditions in a collaborative, patient-centered clinic environment.

This clinic-only position offers a daytime schedule with no nights or weekends, strong physician support, and opportunities for professional growth within a respected nonprofit health system.

Qualifications

• Current California Nurse Practitioner certification.
• Master’s degree in Nursing with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant healthcare experience.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
• Evidence of continuing education and self-development.
• DEA certification (if required for prescribing medications).

Position Summary

The Nurse Practitioner – Pulmonary provides patient care in the Outpatient Pulmonary Clinic, delivering comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, and management of acute and chronic pulmonary conditions. The NP formulates treatment plans that include psychosocial support, health education, and counseling. Responsibilities include interpreting diagnostic tests, developing individualized care plans, and educating patients on disease management and prevention strategies. The NP collaborates with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality, patient-centered care and employs evidence-based practices to optimize patient outcomes.

Required Skills And Experience

• Current California Nurse Practitioner certification
• Master’s degree in Nursing with completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant healthcare experience
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Evidence of continuing education and self-development
• DEA certification (if required for prescribing medications)

Preferred

• Pulmonary Specialty Certification
• Experience in an outpatient pulmonary or respiratory care setting
• Bilingual skills

Compensation Range:150K-160K Annually
