Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years of double rig experience on pulling units.
• Class A CDL is required.
• Active Well Card.
• Experience with pulling unit, derrickhand and operator roles on oilfield rigs.
• Experience operating rig equipment and maintaining safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Operate the pulling unit and rig equipment as directed.
• Ensure crew members are ready and on schedule at the rig.
• Maintain productivity and comply with safety rules at all times.
• Provide quality service to the customer and proper documentation.
• Perform routine maintenance and checks on rig components.

The primary duty of the Pulling Unit Operatorto operate the controls and equipment on a rig.

Pulling UnitOperator Primary Responsibilities

• Ensuring all crew members are at the rig and prepared to work at the scheduled time Knowledgeable how to set and release down hole tools
• Operating the rig and equipment as requested by the company
• Maintaining productivity standards for all rig functions
• Ensuring quality products and services are provided to the customer
• Complying with all safety procedures an ensuring a safe working environment
• Ensuring efficient maintenance of assigned rig and equipment
• Establishing and maintaining a positive work environment for a rig crew

Position Requirements

Rig Operator Job Requirements

• Knowledgeable how to set and release down hole tools
• 5+ years of double triple rig experience
• 5+ years of double pole experience
• Experience entails Pulling Unit, Derrickhand, operator experience in the oilfield
• Valid driver licenses Class A CDL **Required**
• Any other heavy equipment licenses or certifications preferred
• Active Well Card
