Creative Artists Agency (CAA) seeks a Junior Analyst to support the Books and Publishing contract administration team in New York. You will read publisher royalty statements, calculate royalties, and summarize earnings for client reporting and deal insights.

This role connects publishing leadership with agency operations and offers a foundation for growth in publishing finance. The ideal candidate is passionate about books, with basic experience in royalties or publishing, and strong analytics.

Qualifications

• Read and analyze publishers’ royalty statements and calculate royalties to reflect terms.
• Provide timely summaries of client royalty statements, sales and earnings.
• Translate data into insights for dealmaking and performance analysis.
• Support departmental training and internal software development for IP.

Responsibilities

• Fulfill document requests quickly and accurately.
• Collect and organize publishing documents for prompt access.
• Analyze royalty statements and ensure terms are reflected.
• Prepare data-driven reports with clear narratives.
• Support ad hoc projects for the Books & Publishing department.
