Job summary

Moody Publishers in Chicago invites a creative Graphic Designer (Part-Time) to join our collaborative Creative Team. You will develop marketing materials, support book launches, and contribute to brand awareness through print and digital assets.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor's in Graphic Design or related field, at least two years in a design environment, and advanced proficiency in InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, New Media, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum of two years of experience in a design studio, creative agency, publishing environment, or similar setting.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality creative work.
• Passion for books, publishing, and visual storytelling.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating typography, hierarchy, layout, branding, and design versatility.

Responsibilities

• Design engaging print and digital marketing materials for specific campaigns.
• Collaborate with Marketing Managers and Sales Team to understand project objectives and target audiences.
• Create a variety of promotional assets including Amazon A+ pages, digital banners, magazine ads, brochures, social graphics, postcards, and event displays.
• Design original front cover concepts for Christian Living titles and other publishing projects.
• Develop illustrations and artwork as required and support special projects and initiatives.
• Work with Creative Director, Studio Manager, Copywriter, Designers, Marketing Managers, and external partners to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
