Job summary

TAIT, a Colorado-based public works engineering firm, seeks a Project Manager to lead land development and public roadway projects using Civil 3D and AutoCAD. You’ll guide design, execution, client relationships, and team mentoring across infrastructure initiatives.

The role requires a B.S. in Civil Engineering, a current Colorado P.E. license, and at least 5 years’ public works design experience with 3+ years in a PM role. Remote/Hybrid/In-Person options available with strong growth potential.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering is required.
• Current Colorado P.E. license required.
• Minimum 5 years’ experience in public roadway infrastructure design.
• At least 3 years in a Project Manager role managing teams and deliverables.
• Knowledge of municipal civil design standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead public infrastructure projects from proposal to completion, balancing scope, schedule, and budget.
• Build and maintain client relationships; prepare proposals and negotiate fees.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external consultants for high-quality designs.
• Navigate plan approvals with public agencies and ensure compliance.
• Mentor design engineers and CAD staff while delegating responsibilities.
