Job summary

The City of Webster's Public Works Department seeks a reliable team player for the position of Support Services Crewman II, to preserve rights-of-way and support street, land, and general maintenance services.

Responsibilities include mosquito control, animal control related services, traffic control, and interfacing with City employees and citizens; starting salary will be commensurate with experience; essential services position.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year of advanced study or training past high school.
• Over 1 year of relevant experience.
• Must have a valid Texas Class C Driver's License and be able to obtain two listed certifications within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Preserve City Rights-of-Way including streets, sidewalks and signs.
• Provide street, land and general maintenance services.
• Perform mosquito control activities and animal control related services.
• Provide traffic control and interface with City employees and citizens.
• Work as part of a team in essential services during emergencies.
