Commonwealth of Massachusetts seeks personnel for a variety of manual labor tasks to support skilled tradesmen such as carpenters, plumbers and masons. Responsabilidades

• Dig trenches and backfill excavations, and level dirt to grade.
• Set and repair curbing and patch roadways and sidewalks with paving materials.
• Install and repair signs using hand tools.
• Clean storm drains and catch basins.
• Perform snow removal and ice control work.
• Maintain grounds by mowing, pruning trees and shrubs.
• Load and unload trucks and stock supplies.
• Perform preventive maintenance on tools and equipment by inspection and sharpening.
• Install/repair guardrails, set up traffic control devices at work sites.
• Operate hand held power tools and light machinery as assigned.
• Perform skilled labor in construction, repair and maintenance of water/sewer systems and highways.
• Install and maintain water/sewer services; lay main pipes.
• Perform blacksmith, welding and carpentry tasks.
