Job description

Public works laborer could be used in multiple departments including street, gas, and water department. The City of Claxton is looking for a motivated individual who wants to start a long-term career. Water department work includes repairing water mains, sewer mains, and other miscellaneous tasks as they are needed. Street department includes picking up piles of yard debris, weed eating, or cutting grass. Gas department consists of repairing gas service lines along with installing any new services, locating underground gas lines and reading gas meters.
