• Knowledge of personnel supervision and training.
• Interpret plans, maps, and specifications for construction of road appurtenances, storm drains, flood control subdivisions.
• Engineering plans, maps and specifications.
• Construction practices and terminology.
• Methods, materials, and equipment used in construction of pipelines, open channels, roads, reinforced concrete, and other drainage/road structures.
• County, State, and Federal construction regulations and standards.
• Contract management principles.
• Construction site safety practices.

Responsabilidades

• Supervise field inspections of road and flood maintenance and construction projects to assure contract compliance.
• Plan and direct activities of employees working in the inspection programs.
• Coordinate with Project Managers and other agencies; negotiate and communicate as needed.
• Develop positive working relationships with agencies involved in public works projects.
