Job summary

Civil Science seeks a Public Works Division Manager to lead and grow our Idaho practice, delivering water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway projects for municipal clients.

In this executive role, you will drive business development, nurture client relationships, mentor staff, and oversee project delivery and QA/QC while building a strong Idaho division that delivers consistent, high‑quality work. Domestic travel across Idaho is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• PE license in Idaho or eligible to obtain within six months.
• 12+ years of experience in municipal/public works infrastructure.
• Extensive experience with water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway projects.
• Strong project management and QA/QC leadership experience.
• Experience supervising engineers and project managers.
• Business development experience including proposals and client management.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and Adobe Acrobat.
• Ability to travel throughout Idaho to support clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

Civil Science is seeking a Public Works Division Manager to lead and grow our Public Works practice across Idaho. We have an established municipal practice in Idaho - water, wastewater, stormwater, and roadway projects - and we're looking for the right leader to grow it. Your work will directly support the communities these systems serve, and your leadership will determine how the division develops from here. We're looking for an experienced Professional Engineer who can balance business development, client relationships, project delivery, and team leadership. That means strengthening relationships with the municipal clients we have, developing new ones, mentoring staff, and building a division that delivers consistent, quality work. What You'll Get To Do

• Lead and grow Civil Science's Idaho Public Works Division

What Qualifications You'll Need
