Job summary

The New York City Department of Investigation (DOI) seeks two entry-level Investigators to join its Background Investigation Unit (BIU). You will conduct sensitive investigations of individuals under consideration for City appointments to positions of public trust and prepare reports to support City agencies in their hiring decisions.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or four years of related experience, or a bachelor’s degree.

Qualifications
