Cristo Rey Jesuit High School in Chicago is seeking a part-time Public Transportation Chaperone to oversee student safety during commute to and from school. The role is seasonal, mornings only, and duties include guiding students on the Pink Line, ensuring stops, and maintaining attendance records.

A highly regarded Catholic school, Cristo Rey serves students in grades 9-12 and offers an engaging dual language curriculum program integrated with hands‑on work experience allowing students unrivaled career exploration and mentorship, positioning them to succeed in college and beyond. Through partnerships with corporations in the Chicagoland area, students work one day per week in an office environment. This educational model enables students to develop career readiness/leadership skills, cultivate a professional network, add real business value, and support the cost to attend a private, college‑preparatory, Catholic high school.
Under the supervision of the Operations Manager of the Corporate Work Study Program, the Public Transportation Chaperone will assist in students' transportation by chaperoning students to and on the train, reminding students of safety, and updating attendance records and documentation.
This is a seasonal position that follows the annual school calendar (the school year covers Mid-August through early June with school breaks and holidays per the school calendar). This position is only available Monday -Thursday mornings from 7:30am - 9:30am.
