Job summary

Residence Inn, Salt Lake City - Cottonwood is seeking a Housekeeping Houseperson to support the housekeeping team by keeping public spaces clean and well stocked. You will assist Room Attendants, manage supplies, and respond to guest requests with courteous service.

The role requires physical stamina and the ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and holidays, in a hotel environment. Training on safety and SDS procedures is provided.

Qualifications

• Hotel housekeeping experience is highly desired.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain hotel public spaces (lobbies, corridors, restrooms, gyms, and other common areas).
• Assist Room Attendants by stripping linen from vacated rooms.
• Collect and remove soiled linens, trash, and recyclables from guest floors and carts.
• Restock housekeeping closets and keep supplies organized and accessible.
• Respond to guest requests promptly (extra linens, cribs, rollaway beds) and deliver items courteously.
• May set up/break down meeting/event rooms as assigned.
• Maintain safety and cleanliness of service areas and storage rooms.
