Job summary

Stonebridge Companies’ Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott in Rehoboth Beach is seeking a part-time Houseperson to support the housekeeping team and maintain cleanliness in public areas, storage and administrative spaces. You will deliver supplies, remove trash, and assist with cleaning tasks to ensure a pleasant guest experience.

Ideal candidates have basic housekeeping or cleaning experience, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in a housekeeping or cleaning role is preferred but not required.
• Ability to follow safety guidelines and hotel cleaning standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain cleanliness in public areas.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with guests and team members.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain public areas, storage spaces, and administrative spaces.
• Respond to guest requests by delivering supplies and service items to guestrooms.
• Dust, vacuum, and maintain public areas, hallways, restaurants, and rest areas.
• Polish metalwork and furniture in public and administrative areas.
• Collect soiled linens and transport them to the laundry, and store clean linens appropriately.
• Vacuum floors and clean restrooms as assigned.
• Remove trash from public and back-of-house areas.
• Clean outside areas, including arrival zones and the porte-cochère.
• Replenish supplies in designated areas as needed.
