Job summary

Maine Course Hospitality Group is seeking a Houseperson Associate to help maintain the cleanliness and appearance of public spaces, guest corridors, and service areas. You will support both guests and team members, delivering friendly, professional service in a fast-paced hotel environment.

The role reports to the Executive Housekeeper and collaborates with hotel leadership to uphold high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hospitality across the property.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas, guest corridors, entrances, restrooms, stairwells, elevators, and service areas.
• Vacuum, sweep, mop, dust, polish, and sanitize assigned areas according to hotel standards.
• Clean windows, glass surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and other public-facing spaces.
• Restock public restroom supplies and ensure facilities remain clean and guest-ready throughout each shift.
• Remove trash, recycling, and discarded materials from guest and service areas.
• Deliver guest-requested items such as cribs, rollaway beds, and other amenities.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe housekeeping storage rooms, linen closets, laundry areas, and supply spaces.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, lost-and-found items, and guest service issues promptly.
• Assist housekeeping team members with room cleaning and other operational needs as requested.
• Respond professionally and courteously to guest questions, requests, and concerns.
• Support hotel operations by working collaboratively with all departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Represent MCHG with professionalism and positivity at all times.
