Job summary

Residence Inn Greenville is seeking a detail-oriented Houseperson to maintain cleanliness and presentation in public areas and corridors. You will assist the housekeeping team with supplies, set up event spaces, and engage with guests to ensure a welcoming atmosphere.

Qualifications

• Experience in a Houseperson or Room Attendant role in a hotel or similar environment.
• Must have attention to detail with the ability to be thorough in your work.
• Must be able to work independently while maintaining timelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Cleanliness and Presentation: Ensure high standards in common areas, corridors, lobbies, and public spaces through regular cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, and overall upkeep.
• Support Housekeeping Operations: Assist with guest requests for supplies and inventory management (towels, linens, amenities).
• Set Up and Break Down: Prepare meeting rooms and event spaces, arrange furniture, set up equipment, and restore spaces after events.
• Trash and Waste Management: Collect and dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness in common areas.
• Maintenance Support: Identify and report maintenance issues in common areas and assist with minor tasks.
• Customer Service: Engage courteously with guests and assist with information and needs.
