Job summary

IHG Hotels & Resorts in San Antonio is seeking a Hotel Housekeeper to clean and service public areas to established standards, including the lobby, restrooms, public phone areas, and other common spaces.

You will need physical stamina to lift up to 50 pounds, stand and move through shifts, and communicate in English. We offer a comprehensive benefits package including paid time off and health insurance.

Qualifications

• Basic reading, writing, and math skills.
• Some housekeeping experience.
• Ability to speak English preferred.

Responsibilities

• Clean and service assigned areas according to established standards and procedures.
• Strip and wax floors, clean and polish furniture, railings, table tops, mirrors.
• Report to supervisor needed repairs or unsafe conditions.
• Respond to guest complaints and ensure corrective action for guest satisfaction.
• Monitor and control supplies and minimize waste.
• Log lost and found items per procedures.
• Promote teamwork and quality service through daily coordination with other departments.
• May assist with deep cleaning projects.
• May assist with other duties as assigned.
