Job summary

Hilton Garden Inn Hartford South/Glastonbury is seeking a Public Area Attendant responsible for maintaining cleanliness of public spaces in accordance with guest service and sustainability standards. You will clean surfaces, restrooms, floors, and elevators, respond to guest requests, and support the HHM EarthView program while following MSDS/OSHA safety.

This role requires standing, walking, and the ability to lift up to 25 pounds; a high school diploma is preferred with prior housekeeping

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous related experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 25 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Clean all public area surfaces and restrooms; respond to guest requests.
• Keep internal windows and doorways fingerprint-free.
• Ensure public areas furniture and surfaces are clean and organized.
• Ensure floors are free of debris; clean carpet spots.
• Clean elevator surfaces; empty all waste receptacles in public areas.
• Clean employee break room and employee restroom.
• Follow MSDS/OSHA safety standards and EarthView sustainability guidelines.
• Perform other duties as requested by management.
