The City of Tarpon Springs is seeking a proactive Public Works Director to plan and direct programs across utilities, golf, recreation, cemetery, and environmental initiatives. You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and coordinate capital planning and CIP projects with emphasis on water and sewer systems and sustainability.
This senior role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and the ability to present complex analyses to staff and boards.
The purpose of this position is to plan and direct programs and projects within the Public Services Divisions. With an emphasis on water and sewer utilities and sustainability responsibilities, directs, coordinates, and supervises operational and administrative phases of the various departments projects to include utilities, golf-course, recreation, cemetery, customer service, capital planning, and environmental programs.
This job works independently, under limited supervision, reporting major activities through periodic meetings
