Job summary

The State of Hawai'i is seeking qualified plumbers for immediate vacancies located from Halawa to Kalihi, in the Department of Transportation - Harbors, the Department of Human Services, and the Department of Accounting & General Services.

To qualify, applicants must hold a Hawaii Journey Worker Plumber License or Master Plumber License at application time and be eligible to work in the United States; some positions require a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must possess a valid Hawaii Journey Worker Plumber license or Master Plumber license at the time of application.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.
• Some positions require a valid driver's license at the time of appointment.
• May require the ability to lift and carry items of various weights.
• TWIC clearance and fingerprint-based background checks may be required for positions; applicant bears cost.

Responsibilities

• Performs skilled plumbing work in the repair, maintenance and installation of plumbing systems and equipment; and performs other related duties as assigned.
