Job summary

Mfinite Consulting LLC is building a pool of software testers and QA analysts for contract assignments with North Carolina state and public-sector agencies in the Raleigh area.

Assignments typically run 6–12 months with flexible schedules (onsite, hybrid or remote). We need 1+ year of software testing or QA experience and familiarity with Jira/Xray, Azure DevOps Test Plans or similar tools. Compensation is $23–$28 per hour for full-time W-2 roles.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of software testing or QA experience (more for senior assignments)
• Experience with a test management or defect tool (Jira/Xray, Azure DevOps Test Plans, ALM or similar)
• Careful attention to detail and clear written communication
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; able to pass a background check

Responsibilities

• Learn how end users work and turn that into logical, well-ordered test cases
• Write and review test plans for a range of applications
• Run manual and automated test scripts; log and retest defects
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and regression testing before releases
• Report test results clearly to project teams and stakeholders
• Keep test, user and process documentation up to date
