Job summary

You will develop plans, manage timelines, engage with providers, agencies, and communities, and prepare briefs and dashboards for leadership. Bachelor's degree and 3+ years PM experience required; NYC residency is typical.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required.
• 3+ years of experience in project management.
• Experience in cross-functional or cross-agency environments is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple child care and early childhood initiatives from planning through implementation.
• Develop project plans, timelines, deliverables, and performance metrics.
• Track project milestones and ensure deliverables are completed on schedule.
• Identify risks and support mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
• Analyze data to identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improvement.
• Track the implementation of philanthropically-funded initiatives.
• Manage external partners and vendors.
• Facilitate meetings and working groups to align policy and program implementation.
• Conduct research, analysis, and policy reviews to support projects.
• Prepare briefing materials, reports, internal dashboards, progress updates, and presentations for leadership.
• Engage with child care providers, community organizations, and advocacy groups to ensure initiatives meet sector needs.
• Assist with public meetings, stakeholder convenings, and project rollouts.
