Job summary

Mfinite Consulting LLC in Raleigh, NC, seeks network engineers for state and public-sector contracts. Assignments are 6-12 months, onsite or hybrid, and full-time with W-2 employment.

You will install and maintain routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and voice/data systems, monitor performance, and ensure disaster recovery and documentation are up to date. 1–3+ years' experience and hands-on Cisco/Juniper/Aruba/Palo Alto/Fortinet gear required; US work eligibility and background check may apply.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of network or telecom engineering experience.
• Hands-on with Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, Palo Alto or Fortinet devices.
• Strong routing, switching, VLAN, and troubleshooting skills.
• Eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship; background check ok.
• Valid driver’s license for site visits if required.

Responsibilities

• Install, configure and administer routers, switches, firewalls and wireless gear.
• Support LAN/WAN, TCP/IP, VPN and server/network infrastructure.
• Install and troubleshoot cabling and telephony/data systems.
• Monitor performance, capacity planning and fault/outage management.
• Run disaster recovery, backups and archiving; keep diagrams current.
