Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Public Administration, or related field; and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience in human resources, benefits administration, payroll coordination, or related field; OR any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Responsibilities

• Administers benefits programs including health, dental, vision, life, retirement, flexible spending, deferred compensation, and supplemental plans.
• Coordinates payroll processes and payroll deductions; ensures accurate timing and accuracy of payroll.
• Manages recruitment processes and maintains staffing records and communications with applicants.
• Administers FMLA and leave processes and maintains documentation and compliance with laws.
• Provides backup support to County Health Clinic and verifies eligibility for services.
• Maintains confidential personnel files and supports HR operations and policy interpretation.
